3 Days / 2 Nights Amboseli National Park Safari

Morning

• Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or residence at approximately 7:00 AM.
• Drive south towards Amboseli, passing through the scenic landscapes of Kajiado County.
• Arrive in the Amboseli area around lunchtime.
• Check in and enjoy lunch at your lodge/camp.

Afternoon

• After lunch and a short rest, depart for your first game drive.
• Explore the Amboseli plains in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and other wildlife.
• Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, weather permitting.

Evening

• Return to the lodge/camp for dinner.
• Overnight in Amboseli.

Meal plan: Lunch & Dinner
Overnight: Kibo Safari Camp or similar.

Early Morning Game Drive

• Wake up early for tea/coffee.
• Depart for a sunrise game drive, one of the best times for wildlife activity and photography.
• Explore areas around the Amboseli wetlands and open plains.
• Look for elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, hippos, giraffes, zebras and numerous bird species.

Breakfast

• Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.

Midday

• Relax at the lodge/camp, enjoy lunch and perhaps take a swim or relax while enjoying the views.

Afternoon Game Drive

• Continue exploring Amboseli.
• Visit Observation Hill (Nomatior) for panoramic views of the park where permitted by current park regulations.
• Continue towards the wetlands, which attract wildlife throughout the day.

Optional Maasai Cultural Visit

• In the late afternoon, you can arrange a visit to a local Maasai community/manyatta to learn about traditional culture and daily life. Maasai cultural experiences are among the attractions highlighted by Kenya Wildlife Service.

Evening

• Return to camp for dinner.
• Overnight in Amboseli.
